Converting to a Communist country, now more popular than our current Congress. Amazing.

"You may think the past has something to tell you. You may think that you should listen, should strain to make out its whispers, should bend over backward, stop down low to hear its voice breathed up from the ground, from the dead places. You may think there’s something in it for you, something to understand or make sense of.
But I know the truth: I know from the nights of coldness. I know the past will drag you backward and down, have you snatching at whispers of wind and the gibberish of trees rubbing together, trying to decipher some code, trying to piece together what was broken. Its hopeless. The past is nothing but a weight. It will build up inside of you like a stone.
Take it from me, if you hear the past speaking to you, feel it tugging at your back and running its fingers up your spine, the best thing to do —the only thing— is run."

RIP: Steve Jobs, co-founder and former-CEO of Apple Inc., passed away today at the age of 56.
Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2004. His failing health forced him to resign his role as Apple’s CEO earlier this year, as he felt he could “no longer meet my duties and expectations.”
“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being,” Apple said in a statement. “Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
Apple is asking anyone who wishes to share their thoughts, memories, and condolences to email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

This is a bit of a cheesy picture but I think it brings up a very important point. If you ever have an interest in adopting a pet, please check out your local shelters. The adoption fees are really cheap ($100 give or take) and you will have saved your new best friends life. We adopted Auggie from a kill shelter and he is seriously the best little dude ever. My only regret is that I couldn’t take them all home. There are so many cats & dogs out there for adoption, and millions that get put to sleep every year because there are not enough homes. When you have some free time, take a stroll through your local shelter. It will probably break your heart, but it’s important to understand.
And let’s face it, purebred dogs are assholes.
